Xiaomi 15 is a mobile phone product released by Xiaomi on October 29, 2024.
The Xiaomi 15 series is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor for the first time. This chip uses Qualcomm's self-developed second-generation custom Oryon architecture CPU, with two "super cores" and six "performance cores". The Snapdragon 8 Elite version also features a new Adreno830 GPU and an enhanced Hexagon NPU, with a peak performance improvement of 44%, a frequency of 1100MHz, and a 12M independent cache. In terms of screen, Xiaomi 15 is expected to be equipped with a 1.5K straight screen, while the Pro version will be equipped with a 2K full depth micro curved screen, using ultrasonic fingerprint recognition technology.
In October 2024, Xiaomi 15's performance benchmark was exposed, and its multi-core performance surpassed that of Apple A18 Pro. In December 2023, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro have been approved for project initiation. On October 22, 2024, Xiaomi 15 started pre ordering on Xiaomi's official website and Xiaomi's self operated flagship store on JD.com, and made its global debut. In terms of price, with the rising cost of memory and Snapdragon chips, the starting price of Xiaomi 15 series is 4499 yuan. On October 29, 2024, Xiaomi 15 was officially released.
