Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a foldable screen phone released by Samsung on October 21, 2024.
Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone, this special edition folding screen also features a square body design and right angled borders, but the overall body is "thinner, larger, and lighter". In addition, the new phone is not only Samsung's thinnest and largest foldable screen phone, but also has the best camera configuration on Galaxy foldable screen phones so far.
The thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition when folded is only 10.6 millimeters, and when unfolded, it becomes even thinner to 4.9 millimeters, weighing 236 grams, which is 3 grams lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, despite significant improvements in screen and camera configuration.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is equipped with an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity Flex internal screen, with a resolution of QXGA+, an aspect ratio of 20:18, and support for HDR10+. The external screen is a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 21:9 ratio, making the phone feel similar to a regular smartphone when folded.
