Xiaomi 17 Pro
The Xiaomi 17 Pro is a smartphone released by Xiaomi on September 25, 2025, and is one of the models in the Xiaomi 17 series, which also includes the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
This series is positioned as the most significant upgrade iteration in the history of Xiaomi's digital series, and is regarded as the transformation of Xiaomi's high-end strategy over the past five years. The Xiaomi 17 Pro is positioned as Xiaomi's most exquisite small-sized technology imaging flagship.
On September 5, 2025, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing revealed that the Xiaomi 16 series has been upgraded. On September 15th, Xiaomi skipped the digital 16th generation and directly released the Xiaomi 17 series. Lu Weibing announced on social media that the series would be released in September. On the same day, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun stated that the Xiaomi 17 series would fully benchmark against the iPhone.
On September 16th, Xiaomi officially released a teaser video for the Xiaomi 17 Pro series.
On September 22nd, Lei Jun announced the release date for the Xiaomi 17 series. On the same day, Xiaomi officially announced a new color scheme for the Xiaomi 17 Pro.
On September 25th, the Xiaomi 17 Pro was officially released and pre-sales began on the same day. It officially went on sale at 10am on September 27th. The Xiaomi 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch ultra narrow edge straight screen design and is equipped with a Miaoxiang back screen. The back screen size is 2.66 inches, with a height of 151.1mm, width of 71.8mm, thickness of 8mm, and weight of 192g. It is available in four color options: Forest Green, Cold Smoke Purple, White, and Black.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro is launched with the fifth generation Snapdragon 8 Ultimate platform, using TSMC's 3nm process technology and equipped with a 6300mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi 17 Pro features a rear Leica triple camera, equipped with a 50 megapixel Shadow Hunter 950L sensor and LOFIC high dynamic technology, with a super high dynamic range of 16.5EV. Equipped with a 5X periscope telephoto lens, it has excellent macro shooting capabilities and features a Leica floating telephoto lens with sensor inversion design. Supports UWB ultra wideband technology and is equipped with Xiaomi's Pengpai OS3 system. The Miaoxiang back screen can be used for information display, assisting the rear camera in taking selfies, controlling cars, and more.
