Xiaomi 17 is a smartphone released by Xiaomi on September 25, 2025.
The Xiaomi 17 series includes three products: Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
This series is equipped with Qualcomm's fifth generation Snapdragon 8 Ultimate mobile platform and the Pengpai OS3 system, using the third-generation 3nm process+4.6GHz main frequency, with a running point of over 4 million. Positioned as the 'strongest standard version flagship in history', with comprehensive upgrades and 'no markup on quantity'. 6.3 "super elliptical R-angle straight screen, 1.18mm ultra narrow border, 19.6:9 golden screen ratio, the whole machine is light to 191g, the body is the same color glass mirror group, and the four micro curved wrapped middle frame. The Xiaomi 17 Pro is positioned as the "flagship of small-sized technology imaging" and is equipped with a periscope telephoto lens. And the 17 Pro Max, as the "most powerful peak technology imaging flagship in Xiaomi's history," is close to the level of Ultra models.
On September 5, 2025, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing confirmed the early release of Xiaomi 16; On September 15, 2025, it was officially announced that Xiaomi 16 would be renamed Xiaomi 17. Lu Weibing announced on social media that the new Xiaomi 17 series would be released that month, one month earlier than the previous generation, "which will be the most significant leap in the history of Xiaomi's mobile phone digital series".
Regarding this, Lei Jun forwarded a blog post stating that the Xiaomi 17 series has upgraded its product strength across generations, fully benchmarking against the iPhone and facing it head-on. Immediately, the topic "Xiaomi 16 renamed Xiaomi 17" also topped the hot search list.
As of September 18th, Xiaomi Home's Xiaomi 17 has doubled its accumulated deposit blind contract volume compared to the previous generation. On September 22nd, Lei Jun posted that Xiaomi 17 is the "strongest standard version flagship in Xiaomi's history". At 19:00 on September 25th, the Xiaomi 17 series was officially released.
