Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Expected to Feature Exynos 2500
According to TheElec website, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be equipped with the Exynos 2500 chip. Prior to this, there have been multiple reports of related leaks, but this South Korean website stated that "this has been confirmed by senior officials of Samsung Electronics" and that these chips will be put into mass production next year.According to reports, Samsung will produce 229.4 million smartphones next year, with its flagship model Z Flip 7 accounting for only 1% of the 3 million units and the entry-level Z Flip FE accounting for 0.4%, or 900000 units.
Previously, it was revealed that Samsung had originally planned to deploy the Exynos 2500 chip in the Galaxy S25 series phones, but due to a yield rate of less than 20%, the S25 series will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultimate Edition for Galaxy chip. The Exynos 2500 chip will be placed in the Galaxy Z Fold 7/Flip 7, while the "affordable" Galaxy Z Flip FE will be equipped with the same Exynos 2400e processor as the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE launched in September this year.
It was previously revealed on November 25th that the Samsung Exynos 2500 chip adopts a 3+5+2 cluster design, with 3 Cortex-X925, 5 Cortex-A725, and 2 Cortex-A520 cores, and is paired with a high-performance Xclipse 950 GPU.
