Apple iPhone 17e
The iPhone 17e is a smartphone product released by Apple Inc. on March 2, 2026. It is the second generation affordable version of the e-series iPhone and an iteration of the iPhone 16e. It belongs to the iPhone 17 series and is positioned as "powerful and affordable".
In June 2025, multiple sources revealed that Apple had initiated preparations for the renovation of the iPhone 17e production line; On July 11th, Apple confirmed that it will include the iPhone 17e in its new product launch plan for early 2026. According to supply chain information, Apple plans to control costs by reusing previous generation components, with a first year shipment target of around 20 million units. The company plans to iteratively launch the iPhone 17e to consolidate its mid-range market.
On the evening of March 2, 2026, the "Apple Spring Conference" was launched and officially released for the iPhone 17e through an update on the official website. Starting from 10:15 pm on March 4th, iPhone 17e will be available for ordering and officially released on March 11th. The appearance of iPhone 17e is similar to the previous generation, continuing the right angled border and notch design, with a single lens design. The front adopts a 6.1-inch super retina XDR display screen, equipped with seven layers of anti reflective coating. The body adopts aluminum metal frame and super ceramic crystal panel 2, providing three color options: black, white, and light pink.
The iPhone 17e is equipped with a 3-nanometer A19 chip and a 6-core central processing unit; Equipped with the new generation cellular network modem C1X, the video playback mode has a battery life of up to 26 hours.
In terms of imaging, the front is equipped with a 12 megapixel deep sensing camera, and the rear is equipped with a 48 megapixel fusion camera, supporting the new generation portrait mode, 4K Dolby Vision video, and 2x optical quality telephoto. Supports fast wired charging using USB-C charging cables, as well as MagSafe and Qi2 fast wireless charging protocols, with a maximum power of up to 15W. The starting storage capacity is increased to 256GB, with built-in iOS 26 operating system and a new design using Liquid Glass. Supports 5G and wireless LAN, equipped with eSIM function.
