The iPad Air 13 inch (M4) is one of the iPad Air M4 series tablets released by Apple on March 2, 2026. The product will be available for pre order from March 4, 2026 and will be released on March 11.
The iPad Air 13 inch (M4) is equipped with an M4 chip. In terms of appearance, the M4 version of iPad Air has not undergone significant changes overall, and still offers four color options: deep space gray, blue, purple, and starlight. The iPad Air 13 inch (M4) still features an IPS LED panel and SDR maximum brightness of 600 nits. It adopts full lamination technology and anti reflective coating, covering a wide P3 color gamut and supporting original color display.
In terms of specifications, the iPad Air 13 inch (M4) is equipped with 12GB of device side unified system memory, adopting an 8-core design, with 3 performance cores and 5 energy efficiency cores. The GPU specification is 9 cores, and it also has a 16 core neural network engine. Compared with the M1 iPad Air, it can accelerate up to 2.3 times, and when ray tracing is enabled, the 3D professional rendering performance can be accelerated by more than 4 times. In terms of functionality, it is equipped with iPadOS 26 operating system and features Liquid Glass design. The window system also has a new look, ready for Apple's intelligence.
In addition, it also has a new wireless network chip N1, which supports high-speed wireless LAN (Wi Fi 7802.1be), Bluetooth 6, and Thread technology.
