Apple folding screen phones have been circulating for many years, but currently, Apple has become the only mainstream mobile phone manufacturer without folding screen devices. Recently, sources have learned from the supply chain that the news of Apple launching foldable screen phones in 2026 is extremely reliable.
The person revealed that Apple's foldable screen phone is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2026, with the Flip being the first to appear, and two models are expected. Prior to this, the domestic supply chain had already begun preparing for this, including BlueThink Technology. It is reported that Lansi Technology will supply master glass for Apple foldable screen phones, and it has entered the preliminary testing stage. Specifically, Lansi Technology mainly provides UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) for Apple foldable phones.
According to reports, as early as 2006, Blue Technology was an Apple supplier partner, producing glass protective screens for the first generation iPhone. At present, Lansi Technology produces materials such as glass, metal, ceramic, sapphire, etc. for multiple product lines including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, etc.
Sources further revealed that Apple is likely to launch foldable smartphones and possibly foldable laptops in September 2026. It is reported that the initial screen of Apple's foldable phone is expected to be supplied by Samsung Display, and the biggest highlight of the new phone is that it will eliminate creases.
The DSCC report predicts that by 2026, driven by Apple, the shipment volume of foldable devices will reach a historic high with a growth rate of over 30%.
