Lenovo revives Fujitsu phones after taking over FCNT, launching new Arrow Alpha and Raku Raku models

FCNT, a mobile phone brand formerly part of the mobile division of Japanese IT giant Fujitsu, was merged into Lenovo after bankruptcy in 2023.

On June 17th local time, FCNT launched two new phones in Japan to declare its brand rebirth, including the high-end AI smartphone Arrow Alpha and the elderly phone Raku Raku.

The new "Arrow Alpha F-51F" will be released through the NTT Docomo channel in August 2025 (IT Home note: prices will only be announced at that time).

The machine is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme chip (3.35GHz+3.2GHz+2.2GHz), Google AI assistant "Google Gemini" and its own "arrows AI".

In addition to the strongest chip in Arrow's history (Dimensity 8350 Extreme), it is also equipped with 12GB of memory and 512GB of body storage, which is the largest ROM storage in the brand's history, and supports 12GB of virtual memory and 2TB of microSD card expansion.

The device features a 6.4-inch OLED screen (FHD+resolution 144Hz refresh rate), supports IP6X dust resistance, and the highest IPX9 waterproof rating, meeting the US Department of Defense's MIL drop resistance standard.

The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, which can be used for 2 days even after watching videos, playing music, browsing SNS, and playing games for 10 hours a day. It is also equipped with a 90W charger, which can charge the battery from 1% to 100% in about 35 minutes. Even after 5 years of use, the battery capacity can maintain over 80% of its initial capacity.

In terms of imaging, the device adopts a 50.3 megapixel main camera (Sony LYTIA/LYT-700C, 1/1.56 inch, F1.88, Optical stabilization) and 49.9 million pixel ultra wide angle (1/2.7 inch, F2.05) and front facing camera (1/2.7 inch, F2.0).

For the "Raku Raku Phone F-41F", this model will also be released by NTT Docomo in the summer of 2025.

As the successor to the Raku Raku Phone, this model retains the familiar menu and easy-to-use physical buttons, supporting three types of "one click dialing". The secondary screen is larger than the previous generation and uses large fonts, making it convenient for the elderly to view time and other information.

This model measures 113x52x16.9mm, weighs approximately 134 grams, and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 210. It comes with 1GB of memory, 8GB of body storage, support for 32GB expansion cards, a 1500mAh removable battery, a main screen of approximately 3.0 inches, and a secondary screen of approximately 1.5 inches.

Its rear camera has approximately 8 million pixels (F2.0), supports waterproof (IPX5/8) and dustproof (IP6X), is equipped with functions for intercepting harassing phone calls and spam emails, and can also be plugged into a USB Type-C interface as an antenna to listen to radio programs; It also supports the "automatic camera" function and comes with health features such as a pedometer.
