ZTE RedMagic Astra 2
The overseas version of ZTE RedMagic Astra 2 gaming tablet corresponds to the domestically released Red Magic gaming tablet 5 Pro. This device is designed specifically for high-performance gaming experiences and will be confirmed to be launched in the global market by the end of June 2026.
Processor: Equipped with the fifth generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, the CPU has a clock speed of up to 4.6GHz and is based on a 3-nanometer process, making it a top-level configuration in the Android camp.
Cooling system: Built in active liquid cooling architecture, combined with self-developed piezoelectric micro pump and RGB water-cooled light effect, can effectively control the temperature under high load, ensuring long-term gaming without frequency reduction.
Game chip: Equipped with an additional self-developed Red Core R4 game chip, specifically designed to handle touch, audio, and vibration calculations, further enhancing the stability of game frame rates.
Display screen: It adopts a 9.06-inch OLED gaming screen with a resolution of 1504 × 2400, supports 185Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate, with a peak brightness of 1600 nits, smooth image and extremely fast response.
Battery and Charging: Built in 8300mAh battery, supports 80W fast charging, and retains bypass charging function. It can directly power the motherboard while charging and playing, reducing heat generation and battery loss.
Interface expansion: It has dual USB Type-C interfaces (supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2), supports video output, external display, and simultaneous charging and connection of audio devices, and has PC emulator Steam direct connection mode.
The device adopts a fully metal body, with a thickness of 6.9 millimeters and a weight of 363 grams. It runs Android 16 and RedMagic OS 11.5 system at the factory, and has been deeply optimized for gaming scenarios.
