Samsung Screens Coming Back to Chinese Phones?! (Multiple Sizes!)

According to reports, Samsung will supply domestic mobile phones with 2K LTPO and other deep four curved screens, 2K LTPS straight screens, 1.5K LTPO and other deep four curved screens, and 1.5K LTPO straight screens in various sizes next year.

In the early years, like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Series mobile platform, Samsung's 2K OLED screen was almost standard on domestic flagship phones. But in recent years, with the rise of Chinese screen manufacturers such as BOE, Huaxing Optoelectronics, and Visionox, and the deepening of cooperation with Chinese mobile phone manufacturers, domestic screens have gradually replaced Samsung OLED screens in the flagship market, and domestic 1.5K screens have also rapidly become popular in the mid-range and mid to high end markets.

For example, the Xiaomi 14 series, Xiaomi 15 series, and REDMI K80 series come standard with Huaxing Optoelectronics' OLED screens, while the OnePlus 12 series and OnePlus 13 series extensively use customized Oriental screens in collaboration with BOE. The screens of the vivo X200 series are supplied by BOE and Visionor simultaneously, while the screen suppliers of the OPPO Find X8 series mainly include BOE and Tianma. In the wave of flagships at the end of this year, it seems that only the realme GT 7 Pro has chosen a Samsung OLED screen.

At present, Samsung screens are expected to gain more support from Chinese mobile phone manufacturers by 2025, but domestic manufacturers such as BOE still occupy a large market share, and it is expected that competition in this market will become more intense in the future.
