Apple Watch Series 12 Aluminum
The Apple Watch Series 12 is a smartwatch released by Apple at its autumn product launch event on September 9, 2026. It is equipped with the S11 chip and comes in two sizes: 42mm and 46mm. The case can be made of aluminum or titanium, and ceramic material has been added. Pre orders will begin on September 11th and will be officially released on September 18th.
Series 12 brings a brand new deep antique bronze shell, with a thinner and thinner body, compressed to 7.9mm in thickness. Equipped with a new health sensing system, it supports high-frequency heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) monitoring, and adds the function of preparing physical condition index. It can integrate users' recent fitness records, training load, vital signs, and sleep data to provide ratings and suggestions ranging from 0 to 10 points. It can also upgrade blood pressure monitoring from trend warning to displaying specific values, and may also support satellite communication.
The optical heart rate sensor monitors heart rate 24/7 at a frequency of once every 5 seconds, and the HRV measurement frequency increases by up to 24 times. The daily battery life can last up to 24 hours, and in low battery mode it can last up to 38 hours. When continuously monitoring outdoor physical training, the battery life can last up to 10 hours, which is a 25% increase compared to the previous representative model. The maximum storage capacity has been increased to 128GB, supporting 5G cellular networks.
