Apple iPad mini (2026)
The Apple iPad mini (2026) has been officially released, also known as the iPad mini 8. This is the biggest upgrade in the history of the series, with the core changes being the replacement of OLED screens and A20 Pro chips.
Screen: Upgraded from 8.3-inch LCD to 8.5-inch OLED, with deeper black levels and higher contrast, peak brightness of 1200 nits, and optional nano textured glass for 256GB and 512GB versions. However, the refresh rate is still locked at 60Hz and there is no high refresh rate.
Performance: Equipped with A20 Pro chip (2nm process), the 128GB and 256GB versions are 5-core CPUs, the 512GB version is a 6-core CPU full blooded version, and the memory has been upgraded to 12GB.
Body: With a thickness of only 5.4mm, it is 14% thinner and 13% lighter than the previous generation, and supports IP67 dust and water resistance for the first time.
Other: Move the front camera to the horizontal border, change the speaker to vibrate sound, and the cellular version is equipped with Apple's self-developed C2 baseband for the first time, supporting Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
